Tema Parents’ Association School

The School was set up in May 1963 and on June 28, 1969 it was incorporated as a company limited by guarantee on a non-profit basis with the following objects:

  1. to provide primary education for children of all races and creeds irrespective of whether or not their parents are members of the School.
  2. to hold or arrange the holding of periodical meetings of the parents of the children of the School and other persons interested in education for children.

The School started with thirty nine (39) pupils and four (4) teachers. The first Headmistress of the School was Mrs. Alberta Quartey. Today, Tema Parents’ Association School has developed into an international school with a Crèche.
